http://www.phdcomics.com/comics/archive.php?comicid=26 Important Dates The 2008 ARIM Summer REU programis scheduled to take place between May 27 and August 1, 2008. Application materials are due on March 24, 2008 for full consideration. Applications received after March 24, 2008 will only be considered if there are still slots available. Students will be notified of acceptance into the program sometime in Late March or early April, 2008. Offers will initially be made to 8 applicants. Students will be expected to decide on the acceptance of the offer within two weeks. If a student declines the offer, an offer will be made to an alternate student.

Application Materials The application for the 2008 Summer ARIM REU Program at Oakland University consists of an online form that must be completed by the applicant. Furthermore, an official transcript and two sealed letters of recommendation should be mailed to: Dr. Laila Guessous Department of Mechanical Engineering Oakland University 2200 Squirrel Rd. Rochester, MI 48309-4478 The form to be used for the recommendation letters can be found below. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader® to read and print this form.
