About Oakland University 

Oakland University (OU) is located in Rochester, MI, near the world headquarters and engineering centers of DaimlerChrysler Corp., Ford Motor Co., General Motors Corp. as well as over one hundred automotive suppliers in southeast Michigan.

OU’s School of Engineering and Computer Science (SECS) consists of four departments: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Systems Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and a new department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.  These departments offer undergraduate and graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) degrees in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, computer engineering, and computer science.
